At Hanoi on Manning, we are passionate about delivering authentic Vietnamese cuisine made with fresh, carefully selected ingredients and plenty of love.

We are a family-owned Vietnamese restaurant that has proudly served the Kiama community since 2009. Over the years, we have built a reputation not only for our food but also for our welcoming atmosphere. At Hanoi on Manning, we believe in treating our staff, customers, and community like family.

Many of our long-time team members have helped shape who we are today. While some have retired or moved on to new chapters in their lives, they remain part of the Hanoi on Manning story and continue to visit from time to time.

Hoa is the heart behind Hanoi on Manning. A self-taught cook with more than 15 years of experience preparing Vietnamese cuisine, she is passionate about sharing the food, flavours, and traditions she grew up with. Over the years, Hoa has helped build Hanoi on Manning into one of the region’s most loved Vietnamese restaurants.

These days, Hoa spends more time managing the restaurant and supporting the team, but she can still often be found in the kitchen during busy periods, helping prepare dishes and ensuring every meal reflects the quality, authenticity, and care that Hanoi on Manning is known for.

Nam returned to Hanoi on Manning three years ago after spending several years in Vietnam. He originally worked with us at our Wollongong restaurant from 2013 to 2017 and brings valuable experience, dedication, and a deep understanding of Vietnamese cooking to our kitchen team.

Phuong is the newest member of our kitchen family. Originally from Hanoi, she is currently studying to become a chef while working part-time with us. Her enthusiasm, creativity, and fresh ideas bring new energy to our team, while her passion for Vietnamese cuisine helps us continue to evolve and grow.

Together, our team combines decades of experience in Asian cuisine, with a particular focus on the rich and diverse flavours of Vietnam. We are committed to sharing our knowledge, preserving traditional recipes, and continuously improving our craft.
